TBS just showed a promo with game footage.  Top prize is $25,000.  It looks real spiffy.  The game play...TBD.

The promo should air on TBS' west coast feed during the first commercial break of the 10:30 AM Eastern/7:30 AM Pacific rerun of "Married...with Children." (And probably 600 times after that.)  Surely, TBS will pop it on YT or Twitter very soon.

The TJW Twitter account tweeted a picture of the set. Pretty slick!

There's some other pictures in the Media section.

Now celebrating his 22nd season on GSF!

I can definitely see a nod to the old set with the staging - I really like this!

I have access to advance schedules for the Turner networks, and "Snoop Dogg Presents The Joker's Wild" episode #101 is scheduled for Tuesday, October 24th at 10:30 p.m. Eastern. Drop the Mic premieres at 10 p.m. that night.

TJW then repeats about five more times throughout the week in varying time slots (morning, afternoon, overnight) so it will be impossible to miss.

I guess you'd call that the ultimate "natural triple"...

They seem to be doing a ton for this- there's not only an app coming, they're doing a behind the scenes series online, as well as a Snapchat feature...

This afternoon at 4:20pm ;) they posted a behind-the-scenes vignette on TJW's Twitter feed:

Did not realize that Michael Strahan is involved in this.

I'm pretty excited by what I'm seeing.

The first episode of it (about six minutes long) is now on TBS's YouTube page:

.

According to the narrator, Snoop's performance here is going to "reinvent the role of game show host as we know it".

As we know, Snoop Dogg is a host of definitions.

I’m really digging what I’ve seen so far. I wasn’t sure about Snoop but I kind of love the vibe he gives off here. It looks like he’s having a lot of fun with it and that he’s really invested in the contestants winning.

Next part of the behind the scenes is up:

(I’m getting a bit of a Remote Control-type vibe here myself)

I think that pretty much sums it up. That said, the set for National Bingo Night was enough to keep me coming back, and Snoop was earnest enough and clearly having a good time. I'll keep watching.

I liked it for what it was, a vehicle for Snoop’s persona. I find him charming and he seemed to really be enjoying himself and rooting for the players. He kept things moving as well. I could see him settling into the role nicely. It was fun to watch and the set is gorgeous!

Random observations:
The cohost adds nothing.

Hyper contestant syndrome!

Odd that you can’t take Jokers off the board but maybe this was to keep the rules simple.

Questions were way easy.

I kind of liked the mini games within the categories. Didn’t change the structure of the game but still added some variety. A bit awkwardly staged with the dice though.

The 420 references will get old fast!

Liked the slot machine sound effects.

The bonus round pacing seemed off to me. Hopefully they can work on that a little. Was surprised they kept the bonus pretty much the same.
