Thanks again Matt for coordinating everything on this--it's fantastic!

BTW, I wonder if this isn't our contestant 'C':

Man, I love stuff like this!  Not only is this almost certainly our guy, but the detailed bio even gives us the time frame in which this pilot took place!  My viewing partner (mmb5) and I decided originally that this was probably 1966, but based on this new information, maybe we back it up to 1965.  Those of you with more familiarity with the comings and goings of G-T staffers may be able to narrow it down even further, since we're treated to a pretty complete credit roll.

Plus, you've just got to love it when a pilot does a pilot.

Jean Craighead George was a fairly prominent children's book author.  Submitted for your consideration:

EDITED to very strong likely "yes".  She's identified as being from Washington, DC, as was the author.

First of all, to echo the general sentiment, this is an awesome treat to watch. Thank you to Matt and everyone involved in the conversion effort.

Secondly, regarding the second video in that Dropbox folder...I just now realized that the think music, best known as a Price Is Right cue, was written to the tune of the Oddball theme music. Listen to it!

Make Your Move would make a sensational home game if it isn't one already. I would play the heck out of that game. Would probably watch it as a series too. I found myself screaming at my screen many times.

The only noteworthy thing that jumps to mind about the less-familiar names in the credits is that stage manager Elmer Gorry became a (very) minor star in the 1980s with a recurring character on "Late Night with David Letterman." He appeared semi-regularly playing the role of Grant Tinker.

Two clips I've found, that are relevant to our discussion of the contestants:

This one would seem to confirm that, yes, Contestant C was the Flight Lieutenant turned entertainer- note that the voice and (once aging is consider) face are the same.

This I'll leave open to the floor- our Contestant D (once we consider changes in fashion, the passing of around a decade, and the fact that her vocal tone may differ due to the audience), or not?

(And, as an actually-relevant point: If Contestant D is indeed the NYC-based children's show host, this almost certainly pushes the date of this program back to no later than April 1965.)

She has an oddly shaped too-wide mouth that seems consistent throughout all the evidence.  The black and white picture on my link is definitely the contestant, and it defies logic that there would be another Carol Corbett essentially the same work in NYC around the same time.  I say it's her.

First, I want to publicly apologize to Curt Alliaume for so casually dismissing his notion that the host could possibly be Robert Earle.  Turns out he was right on the money.

And now that a few of us have seen it, am I really going to be the first one to say...man, what a dumb idea for a TV show?  Because man, what a dumb idea for a TV show.  I agree with Kevin that it would be a decent idea as a board game, but (to me anyway), yelling at the screen over the ineptitude of players isn't the same as yelling right answers.  This just seems like it would get really repetitive really fast.

https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/2884/pathfinder is what you seek.

This would be almost interesting if done as a reward or immunity challenge, especially if the loved ones serve as Parcheesi pieces on the life-size game board.

That said I'm still really glad I participated.
