Questions about the LMAD set/studio

When the 1984-1986 version of Let's Make A Deal moved to Hollywood Center Studios in the 1985-86 season, were there any set or budgetary changes on the show.

I only know that Brian left and Dean Goss took over.

And I'm sure the late 1984-85 shows weren't taped at HCS.. right? It's just that the set looks different in the mid-'85 shows than in the 1984 to the present eps. GSN is airing.

You are correct...the 1st season was taped at LMaD's original home, NBC Studios in Burbank.

IIRC, they also revamped the Door #4 game where it started with a mystery ammount from $1-$5,000 to the wheel later on in '84 where the top dollar value was $4,000.  I think they added the 2 CAR spaces the following year.

The "mystery amount" Door #4 format lasted about the first six weeks. Then, the wheel with the "Double Deal" format($10K win was possible) lasted for the next month or so. Then came the Wheel with the car spaces. Originally, $750 given at the outset(the player could then risk it to try to win a car or more money, or could get less money or an LMAD T-shirt Zonk). That was a month or so later changed to give $1000 at the outset, and at that time some of the spaces on the wheel changed, and towards the end of season one, a wheel update with a couple more Double and Triple spaces debuted.
