It depends upon how much Caledor wants to put in their budget for the phone game.  At least the syndie version will get a "green light" for a 3rd season with ratings generally hovering around a 4 this season.

Also of note is that they're using the 5-question first round format introduced in 01...pass that, and you're in the running to be chosen for the show.
