Did they use the same theme music package?

This might answer your question. Say "Hi" to the new whammies while you're there.

Good remake of the theme.  And a tasteful remake of the original animations.  ABC's got such a stable of retro shows now, I seriously hope that they are considering some daytime versions if the ratings are there.
The change in title from "GMA Day" to "Strahan and Sara" is probably a sign that show is not meeting expectations.  A pairing of Pyramid and Match Game in half hour versions might be okay with the affils.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

Nice mix of the classic whammies and some new ones- and the commercials for the show had a couple of animations that weren't on there as well....

I'm honestly surprised they didn't try this when The Chew was canceled. I know another hour of GMA is cheaper, but I would at least try a daytime game show for 13 weeks. If you break them down into half hour episodes and edit credits at the end of the first half* and new intros on the second half, you could rerun Pyramid or Match Game to test the waters.

*Or just do a "short crawl" at the end of the first episode with copyright and production company logos.

And if you play HQ Trivia, you got to see the full version of two of them.  Lumberjack Whammy says, "3, 2, 1, timber!" ( Tree crushes him) "Not again..."

Bartender Whammy's dialogue : "You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here."

There's another animation that I don't think was part of the Twitter video.  This one borrows from Whammy! and has a fireman Whammy being flung around by the hose.  He escapes....only to be ran over by a firetruck.
I'm a pacifist, and even I would like to see a little more action.

Watching the PYL promo airing during Sunday's Fun & Games,  it looks like they cleverly edited where the contestants actually "stopped" at.

If so, then considering that many shows of late like to 'spoil' the upcoming segment(s) before the commercial break, I would like to thank ABC for giving us a peek of the gameplay without divulging the actual gameplay.

I recently learned that there's an extra-early hour of network news programming on ABC titled "America This Morning," their website is "atm fans dot com," and boy, that's gotta feel like a real bait-and-switch for some people who come across it at the 4 a.m. airtime.

That seems adequate???? Assuming around a dozen or so get hit per episode and they're only doing one show per week, that seems okay.

I feel like even towards the middle/end of the original run there was a fixed set they used for each week of shows or something to that effect.
This signature is currently under construction.

Interestingly enough, in the Buzzr video of the Whammy skits, the number shown totals...... 37.

The first 7 weeks featured 10 Whammy skits. I think 37 is sufficient.

That was a fun trip down Memory Lane...but I could probably pick out the original ten based on how simple they were.

Snowball Whammy didn't make the cut this time.

Being a summer show, would it be necessary?
