Borrowed SFX?

Group...

Game shows now and then have used SFX on one show and recycled them again on another. OK, that's all fine and sweet but what if these borrowed effects are not from the same production house? Let me give you an example...

--The now classic "doot...doot...doot" SFX from Bob Stewart shows (like $25,000 Pyramid, Go, and I think Cullen's Chain Reaction as well) Iv'e also heard it on $ale of the Century (Perry) & a pilot from '83 w/ Alex Trebek called "Malcolm". These 2 shows WERE NOT made by the Stewart family.

--Also the timer music on "Supermarket Sweep" not the one used the "Roundrobin" game rather the one used where the contestants play that "Ghost"-ish game with brand names of supermarket items (I'm sure it's used in others). I've heard it on  an episode of "The Fesh Prince of Bel-Air". It's the one where Will goes on a game show to win a Corvette and the think music used during one of the rounds was (you guessed it) the "Supermarket Sweep" timer music.

Which brings up the questions, are these stock pieces?
