Okay, and as I said to Randy:

Ohh, no, no...that was simply a parody. There's another member of the board who ranted about something-or-other, using the style of posting which I displayed above.

That's the last time I try to make subtle humor. :-P

Cool it, Howie. Just because Kerry will beat you to the presidency [that you have a snowball's chance in ____ of getting] doesn't mean you should stop taking the medication. ;-)

Wow, is this off-topic or what? Let's fix this. Check out this audio file: http://www.pacdudegames.com/deantpir.mp3 after looking at this picture: http://www.pacdudegames.com/toomuchfordean.jpg and enjoy!
So will I. I'd give my left arm to have you as PiR's permanent announcer!
Should we call you "Righty"?
It's too soon to tell, but I'm remaining optimistic. Get ready for the par-tee!

btw, I LOVE the support but don't want to turn every thread on this great board into a love-fest for me. Especially when you can do that to CBS.com! Thanks!!

Are you going to try to clear Pyramid in all 78 states?

(Those of you who don't get that joke are not watching enough Keith Olbermann.)

You mean there are actually people in Hollywood who don't want everything to be a lovefest for them?  :-p

Stephen Colbert had it up to 80 states in his report Monday.

It worries me when Countdown and The Daily Show get a little too close to each other on the serious/satire meter.

"Well I hate to correct you on your own show, Casey, but there are 52 states with Alaska and Rhode Island."  (Sports Night, which is almost like a game show, except it's a sitcom set in the world of broadcasting.)

Greatest show-that-isn't-a-game-show EVER, and that's one of the best lines in one of the funniest shows.  I may have to go back and watch that one again tonight.

No, no, no, I don't want the dart for you.  I want it for me.  Every time I hear that speech, I go bezerk!

If I ever do a book of the dumbest damn campaign speeches ever given, I'm sure that Dean's Iowa speech will go in the preface, which I will put BEFORE the table of contents just to make sure that everyone sees it before reading anything else.

Somewhere in this thread, we were talking about game shows, weren't we?

In other words, it's like Pyramid, but different! :-)

I think the full SN series is out on DVD, isn't it?

Yes it is; came out in the fall of 2002, with no special features (much to Aaron Sorkin's chagrin, apparently).  Grudgingly issued by Disney/ABC, who were surprised that it outsold their other DVD box sets at the time -- this and Family Guy's success helped open the floodgates for other boxes of more obscure series.

Nobody, however, is talking about a $20,000 Pyramid DVD box as far as I know.

Mine too.  On the other hand, if they ever want to go back and make a second version with extras, I'll happily buy it again.  I did that with the first season of West Wing.  Bought it from the UK when it was first out, bought it again with the extra features on the US edition.  Obsessed people do things like that.

I wonder if I'm the only one here who will be buying the complete "Freaks and Geeks" on DVD when it comes out in April...

ObGameShow: The cast of F&G appeared on Family Feud during its first season (first of the current run)...
