Looking to speak to past Pyramid contestants

Can't help out here, but I like the many possibilities of where this could be going.

I'm still convinced there must have been an entire town on Long Island that took the train into the city one day to try out for Pyramid in the late '70s.

I'm checking with a friend of mine who once dated a tournament contestant (not sure if they're still in touch). I will advise.
