IGAS on Buzzr - Looking for info
« on: February 03, 2020, 09:50:42 PM »
It appears I've Got A Secret is not on the Buzzr lineup currently, but I know they were running it in the past, and I think they were running episodes with the commercials intact, running several classic shows long like in the old days of GSN and the "-ish" schedule.  I'm looking to see what people remember about that Buzzr period.  Did they run cigarette sponsored shows?  Did anybody record them?  Working on a project and I'm trying to find out what may or (more likely) may not have aired.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.

I don't recall them showing any cigarette sponsorships on the air. I know they streamed a few episodes with cigarettes on Facebook and wherever else, and I believe they came with an anti-tobacco disclaimer.

No cigarette sponsored shows. They've run episodes from January 1961 to roughly May 1964 plus two or three earlier/later shows in marathons. They aired in 40 minute slots with most of the commercials intact (unless it was for an alternate week tobacco sponsor.)

I have maybe two or three recorded somewhere.
