Has any contestant on the Match Game Hollywood Squares Hour ever play for and/or won either $3,000, $7,500, and/or $15,000 in the Super Match?

I've seen one $7,500 so far in the Buzzr run.

Was it the January 4 or 11, 1984 episode?

That's got to sting just a little bit. It's one thing to spin double and turn $500 into $1,000 on MG '90 but to hit that lotto drawing in the almost worst circumstances possible would eat at me at least until I won another game and cashed in another Super Match win.
If you didn’t create it, it isn’t your content.

In my own play-along with MGHS, I've been surprised how many more times I've hit a lower value answer on the Audience Match vs the other versions of Match Game.  I haven't decided whether it's because the Audience Matches seem to skew slightly more toward a current event, or whether they were just too open-ended.  Or both.

Hey, at least it's not $3,000.

I dunno, I would think $7,500 in 1980's money could patch that wound.

It’s no 30K, but you could still buy a decent car for that price in ‘84.

Do remember after taxes you clear right around $5K of that.

Certainly I'm not gonna rip up the check, but I think I'm driving the Volkswagen a little longer too.

That’s a fair point. Unless you want a base model Nissan Sentra. ;)

And the Yugo was still a few years from gracing us with its presence...
