Youngest game show host?
« on: April 28, 2020, 08:28:17 PM »
Recently, a friend and I were wondering who was the youngest person to ever host a game show? Doing some research, we found three contenders for the answer:

* Hal Sparks was 18 when he hosted Treasure Mall.

* J.D. Roth & Ryan Seacrest were both 19 when they first hosted Fun House & Wild Animal Games, respectively.

Has their been anybody younger than 18 that has hosted a nationally aired game show?

Maria Sansone was only 13 when she hosted Gladiators 2000 (1994-95 season).

Alongside a 17 year old Seacrest, by the way.
I suppose you can still learn stuff on TLC, though it would be more in the Goofus & Gallant sense, that is (don't do what these parents did)"- Travis Eberle, 2012

If cable counts, the three hosts of Wild & Crazy Kids on Nickelodeon were under 16 when it premiered in 1990.
