Buzzr weekend schedule changes are coming...
« on: June 26, 2020, 04:24:18 PM »
Per Buzzr's Twitter page, they are changing their weekend overnight schedules (no idea when this takes effect, since they didn't specify a date, and the schedule pages themselves don't reflect this yet), here's the changes they've listed...

Saturdays...
1:00am - Tattletales
2:00am - To Tell The Truth
3:00am - Password
4:00am - Now You See It
5:00am - Card Sharks (Perry)

Sundays...
10:00pm - Body Language
11:00pm - Password Plus
12:00am - Match Game PM
1:00am - Body Language
2:00am - Beat the Clock (Hall)

I'd assume everything else is the same, but can't confirm it yet.

FWIW, the two runs of $ale are switching their slots, effective Monday.

The changes noted above appear to kick in the week of 7/20.

New-to-Buzzr eps on 7/13:
Concentration 70s picks back up with 1031.
LMAD 80s Picks back up with 266...then gets messy.  Run jumps 3 episodes (skipping 269-271) on Thursday, before jumping ahead 33 shows the following Monday -  from 273 on 7/17 to 306 on 7/20.   Since someone's inevitably going to ask why. Obviously no idea. There's a hundred different reasons (for the hell of it, weird episode numbering, tape damage, coming back to it later, something getting shuffled around in screening at Fremantle/Buzzr due to all the Covid-related workflow changes, who knows; any guess would be speculative).

On 7/20, more new stuff:
Match Game-Hollywood Squares Hour resumes with episode #76.
New Blockbusters also shows up on 7/20, picking back up with right where they left off in November '81

and then on weekends:
Now You See It, which I believe *has* been running new-to-Buzzr shows in it's upgraded timeslot (Edit: Nope), reverts back to #23 as it drops back into overnights.
The new run of Monty's BTC is new-to-Buzzr, picking up a couple weeks into the All Star era with show #45.
Body Language starts fresh episodes and continues where it left off as well beginning late-7/26.

(And on a personal note, I'm always sad that Rafferty's CS can never seem to stick around or get more than the first 20 shows aired - it's actually my favorite run of the show)

No new episodes. Last "fresh" episode of NYSI was #087, back in July 2018, when it was on the weekday lineup.

First 25 shows, actually. I'm sort of hoping they add more of his run myself eventually, since even though he's not (IMHO) in Jim Perry's league, he's still worlds better than Bob Eubanks, as far as I'm concerned.

If Jim Perry is 100, Bill Rafferty is at least 98.6 or so.
If you didn’t create it, it isn’t your content.

Not a hot take.

Count me among those who wishes Rafferty CS could get into the rotation properly, because his hosting clicks so much better with the show than Eubanks' does. Get us into those prize cards.

Nice to see new episodes making their way onto the network, though.

Per Buzzr's Twitter page, they are changing their weekend overnight schedules (no idea when this takes effect, since they didn't specify a date, and the schedule pages themselves don't reflect this yet), here's the changes they've listed...

Saturdays... SUNDAYS
1:00am - Tattletales
2:00am - To Tell The Truth
3:00am - Password
4:00am - Now You See It
5:00am - Card Sharks (Perry)

Sundays...
10:00pm - Body Language
11:00pm - Password Plus
12:00am - Match Game PM
1:00am - Body Language
2:00am - Beat the Clock (Hall)

I'd assume everything else is the same, but can't confirm it yet.

Just so folks aren't confused setting their recording devices - above is all Eastern Time and takes place beginning Sunday 7/26
What was labelled as 'Saturday' is really early morning Sunday
And 'Sundays' is late night Sunday into Monday morning

I think most of us know the difference and what the OP meant. No need for the fix.

Now that Concentration is back to "New-to-me" shows this week, are they still rerunning the Monday and Tuesday shows on Sunday afternoons?
