So, after last night's debacle, I figured I'd do a practice round with fictitious information. Super-easy (or easy-to-guess) questions, aced all five. Had to hang up. (By the way, pecks are smaller than bushels, Margaret Mitchell won a pulitzer before Harper Lee, and if a > b > c > d then sqrt(a) > sqrt(b) > sqrt © > sqrt(d), in case you're asked to rank-order square roots of numbers from highest to lowest.)
So I call back and get moderately easy questions, #5 being the listing of U.S. rivers starting in the north, correct order being Yukon-Yellowstone-Arkansas-Chattahoochie. My 'old guy' rule for album titles (i.e., the one I've never heard of is most recent) served me well on question 4 (Candy-O, Nevermind, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, Room for Squares.)
Either I got really lucky, or they had like five people last night getting them all correct....
