Mastermind UK Scoring Question
« on: August 20, 2020, 02:38:42 PM »
I know that the tiebreaker for final scores goes to the contestant who had the fewest passes, but I don't recall there being a penalty for wrong answers. If that's right, is there any benefit to passing on a question when you can just throw out a guess and avoid the pass?
Fact To Make You Feel Old: Just about every contestant who appears in a Price is Right Teen Week episode from here on out has only known a world where Drew Carey has been the host.

Wrong answers just expend time as John reads off the correct answer. Ostensibly each of the stacks is compiled to be as equal as possible in terms of total verbiage so that a contestant who plays confidently at speed will get nine questions per minute.
