(pffft, like I’m ever selling mine anyway)

Wait, what? You have a complete Gambit deck?

Since 2013, yeah.
It’s the one Adam Nedeff used scans of to make his own personal Gambit home game a couple of years ago.

Am I high or did some decks have orange backs with white printing?

Looks like the original seller has gotten around to listing his *third* deck.

You can have a mostly complete one (48/52 cards) for the low low price of $700...

If this seller isn't looking at these and thinking "hmmm, how can I print some more of these up and weather them so they look like they came from the '70s," they aren't thinking.

Also, missing cards or not, if I've auctioned this item twice already, and both times it went for more than $900, I'm not going to sell the next one at a "buy it now" price that's less than that.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.

Except, and i've made this point  to the seller - you can't play cards with a less than full deck, retro novelty or not.

I disagree. Anyone paying $900+ for these is MOST DEFINITELY playing with less than a full deck.

1) I think we established there were cards missing from my deck a LONG time ago. :)

2) I paid, what, $50 for those all told? :)

If you have less than an entire deck of cards, sell them individually, and space out the auctions. That would drive more interest than selling what's perceived as an incomplete product.

(I've sometimes had a hard time getting my head around eBay selling practices. Back around 1999 or so, someone associated with the Atlanta Braves got ahold of a pile of game-worn jerseys, and decided to sell all of them at once, with auctions ending within ten minutes of one another. I bid on a couple knowing I had backup plans. And that's why I have an Alan Embree jersey in my closet right now.)

Ha!  I got a 1999 Braves game-used jersey of Justin Speier, presumably from the same seller.  (I got at signed by Speier a year later.)  At least their jerseys that season had a cool patch commemorating the 25th anniversary of Hank Aaron's 715th homer.
