Gieco Commercial, Game Show Parody

If you've seen those Gieco commercials recently, they've been using a lot of parodies. Soap Opera, Hair Restoration, Rapping, etc but not a Game Show Parody.

How would you do one ? Here's my idea:

Super-nervous contestant has just made his $10,000,000 Final Answer on "Super Millionaire".

After Regis give a very-long wait on the verdit he states, "I have excellent news for you !"

Contestant: "I won $10,000,000 ?"

Regis: Nope, just got off my Phone-a-Friends at Gieco who just saved me a bunch of money on my car insurance"

While the announcer spiel, we hear the gut-wrenching Question 15-loss musical cue.

Change Regis's line to "No, I saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico."

Or, we could just post that it sucks right here.

Don't you think Regis in the Hummer commercial is bad enough?

Ugh, so mean all the time. I for one think that it would be a very imaginative commercial. It's something that would fit well with the others Geico has done so far.

I'm trying to figure out how it's imaginative.  They use the same catch phrase every time, in various set-ups.  Not too hard to come up with that.

It would be more funny to use the catch phrase in a *different* ad set-up.

Until Geico starts doing business in New Jersey, I could give a flying flip.
