There's some different instrumentation. I'm inclined to believe that this was a different mix that was already recorded and just decided to use this one because it sounded more posh.

I thought about modifying my original reply with an "I see what you did there" type message, assuming Blanquepage was being sarcastic about how bland and nondescript the Wheel theme is now in general.

...No, no sarcasm. I'm referring actually to how the ABC versions of classic games take the themes with real instruments and turn them into make these half-baked synthed-up renditions. At least the regular 'Wheel' theme has real percussions and horns.
