Geoff Edwards eluded us but eventually did a pilot.

You don't happen to recall for what show, do you?

Well done sir.
Least I could do. :P

I believe the Geoff Edwards pilot was “Feud”.

I recall reading that Geoff actually turned down Feud because the way it was described to him reminded him too much of The Neighbors, which had recently flopped.

What is bad career move?

At bit more on the guest host schedule:

Mike Richards 2/22-3/5
Katie Couric 3/8-3/19
Dr. Oz 3/22-4/2
Aaron Rodgers 4/5-4/16

Mike Richards also says the decision on the permanent host will likely be “at the end of the season or the summer”, and the only tournament that might happen this season is the TOC (and even that is up in the air), mainly because of tryout/casting limitations...

After reading that, selecting Dr. Oz as a guest host makes more sense seeing as how him and Alex were close. But Mike stating that Alex "was not controversial in any way" in his discussion of positive attributes for a host seems to contradict that, given the negative baggage Oz has in some circles.

Well we have a new guest host announced today- Buzzy Cohen. He’s doing the Tournament of Champions May 17-28 (they were iffy on if they were going to have one or not this season, so that’s good they were able to get it done....)  That gets them to Mid-June:

4/19-4/30: Anderson Cooper
5/3-5/14: Bill Whitaker
5/17-5/28:Buzzy Cohen
5/31- 6/11: Mayim Bialik

So they only need 1 or 2 more to get them to the end of the season...and I think they’ll do the announcement of the full time host around then.

The two would be Savannah Guthrie and Dr. Sanjay Gupta

Beginning to wonder what Sony is really trying to do here. Next man up: Joe Buck.

Joe Buck but not Dan Patrick?  Makes ZERO sense.

I’ve been indifferent about Levar Burton. If he gets a shot, great. If not, oh well. But Joe Buck over him makes zero sense to me. He might be the only host more polarizing than Dr. Oz.

Jim Nantz would be a far better pick for J! than Joe Buck.
