It was indeed the first time it had happened in the show's run up to that point. It happens once more, but not until 1986. Which means Buzzr will probably air it in 2027.

Another milestone on the show aired today (5/17). We had a five time champion, who just went over the $50,000 limit. Peter said he gets to keep everything.
