So we've seen how the 3WM lifeline works and the sort of people that are being chosen.  So far, it's been 2 Millionaires (Nancy Christy; John Carpenter), doctors, editors, librarians, etc.  So, assuming that there are no repeats in the groups, who else do you think will lurk in the new DIE-mension?

My guesses:

Will Shortz, NY Times Crossword Puzzle Editor

Kevin Olmstead, won some money on some show a few years back ;-)

Ed Toutant, won some money on the same show as Olmstead

An editor from World Book or Encarta or something like that (not Brittanica or the fancier encyclopediae)

$10 on Dan Blonsky!
"They're both Norman Jewison movies, Troy, but we did think of one Jew more famous than Tevye."

Now celebrating his 22nd season on GSF!

(idly wondering if they could do an April Fool edition of SuperM with the three wise men being Larry, Darryl and Darryl....)
This isn't a plug, but you can ask me about my book.

I'm certain that Kevin Olmstead will appear at some point.  (Maybe tonight?)  I mean, why not have the biggest winner ever?  Ed Toutant is a likely possibility.

Will Shortz is an excellent idea!!  There could be a NYC theme, since Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson is from the Hayden Planetarium.

I still want to see Ben Stein.

How about a certain (cough)journalist/educator(cough) whose name I won't mention for fear of being shot.

Well, he is in the ABC rolodex after being interviewed for that 20/20 story about professional game show contestants.  However, I'm sure we all would have heard about it by now if he was asked about it, since all the bookings are probably set for the remaining shows.
