When are Roger Rose's eps slated to air? They were originally supposed to begin last Fri (2/20).

Ummm.

That's been posted on the CBS website for over a month.

It's also noted that on CBS.com an announcer by the name of Rich Fields will be given a shot next month.

Art Sanders has been pretty good so far. Looking forward to Roger Rose and eventually Rich Fields.

I'm liking these "unknowns" getting a shot.

Guess those audition tapes are finally coming in.

Enjoy lots and lots of backstage TPIR photos and other fun stuff here. And yes, I did park in Syd Vinnedge's parking spot at CBS

Could this possibly be the Rich Fields you guys speak of?

Seems like it to me, since he's already a network employee.

Does this mean that Dave Price is also going to try out as "TPIR" announcer, too?

If they're resorting to small market weathermen for the announcing gig, then i'm sending my large market weatherman tape.

Jeez.

Hey, go for it...Price also managed to get himself a spot on H2 for a week in Dec, so anything's possible. :-)

Oh, no he's not--oops!

That's what I get for just seeing "CBS" and "2" at the top of the page.  I didn't see the "TV" in-between.

It might make for a good CBS affil piece for sweeps..."Come on down! Our own wacky weatherman Walter Windchill got to be the announcer for The Price is Right for a day, plus....a common item in your house right now could kill you....details at 5!"
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

The TPIR announcer works for Fremantle, not CBS.

CBS.com lists an individual by the name of Don Bishop taking the place of Rich Fields.

I guess I can chime in with the first critique....

He's....well, alright. Not as good as Art Sanders, but better than Daniel Rosen.* He screwed up on the Plinko intro, just putting the emphasis on the 50K. So, in other words, he could use some inprovement. His prize descriptions are good, though.

*=then again, ANYONE'S better than Daniel Rosen.

There are three things I've learned never to discuss with people: Religion, politics, and the proper wrapping of microphone cables.

He wasn't exactly spectacular, but he wasn't terrible, either....far from it. He was OK...and for a first-timer, OK is pretty good.

But then again, I'd welcome Rich Jeffries back with open arms over Daniel Rosen.

I'd welcome a poo sandwich over Daniel Rosen.
