(Did Funny You Should Ask ever record any more episodes, or is it the ~200 or so that were recorded the first time around repeating ad nauseum?)
This season was all repeats; the last new episode was May 13, 2020. While none of the episodes have the copyright date in the credits, new shows were filming up through at least 2019; one of the last episodes that aired had a question about the Karen meme. (That, and there's an episode where Raven-Symone flat out said 'this is 2019'...I forget the context, though.)
My guess is that Byron sat this season out so he wouldn't have to reconfigure everything for the Covid era; he's already done over 200 episodes, so that's plenty of reruns to fall back on.
