I can't find a U.S. episode with a question reader. Was this a season 2 thing?

The recently-canceled Panel Quiz Attack 25 had a host who did most of the duties you would expect, with the exception of reading questions, which his co-host did.
Legends Of The Hidden Temple had Olmec read the Steps of Knowledge questions. He also explained the Temple Games rules, and guided the team through the final Temple as well. Why the heck was Kirk Fogg even there, anyway?
Olmec wouldn't have been able to give running commentary on the Temple Run from his vantage point.
Jeopardy clue crew members although they are separate answer readers, not question readers.
I'm not counting stuff like the Clue Crew, I'm referring to a different person, on-stage or off, who always read all the questions.
