Additionally, each seating area is allowed to hold two people, even though Wayne may only select one of those two people to make a deal. (Previously, when two people were together in a seating area, then it meant they would be called down together for a deal that required a couple.) There are still 18 video feeds on the back screens for at-home contestants.
Distancing in the gameplay area is still in effect.
Now that it isn't the case that the vast majority of the in-studio audience will participate in an episode, it's yet to be seen whether audience members will carry over to additional episodes from the same taping day, as happens at The Price Is Right.
