Thanks to first-run eps of "WBSM" airing during the eligibility year, this will be the last "J!"/"WBSM" writers' showdown.  Also in the race are the writers of Ellen (including "Idiot Savants" host Greg Fitzsimmons) and "The View" (and once again, what do they write besides segment lead-ins?)

They'll be handed out May 22 on NBC from Radio City Music Hall.  No host announced yet.  Dick Clark's producing, meaning that Ralph Andrews will probably be picketing out on Eighth Avenue.

And don't forget--"H2" and "Pyramid" will be eligible next year, due to the calendar year eligibility period.

Actually Chris is no longer with the show. The new mixer, Dirk, is an awesome guy.

LOL! Love the visual. But on 8th Avenue only the whores will see him. Tell Ralph he needs to be on 6th between 50th and 51st   ;-)

Should've said "Avenue of the Americas."  The hotel I stayed at for the "J!" MDM tourney was on 8th Ave.--the HoJo.  It was at least reasonable.

But no one in New York calls 6th Ave. "Ave. of the Americas," right?

ObGameShow:  My two friends and acquaintances in the tourney field didn't make the finals.

Paul Simon said they were on Seventh Avenue. Have they moved?

"Pyramid" has got to be the only show that looks like it was directed in post-production.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

Wayne Getchell didn't work on the 03-04 season of squares.

He did work on the 02-03 season.
Enjoy lots and lots of backstage TPIR photos and other fun stuff here. And yes, I did park in Syd Vinnedge's parking spot at CBS

Actually they have! Times Square (42nd between 7th and 8th) was once where you could get a Masters degree in prostitution, pimping, pandering, and perversion in one day. It was also the equivalent of NATPE for introducing new drugs! The block is now like Disneyland's Main Street (including many Disney owned theatres and stores). The whores and bookstores are on 8th a little further north.... SO I'M TOLD!!!!   ;-)

It screams "tourist" louder than wearing a camera around your neck and staring up at the tall buildings  ;-)

And just to keep the thread game show related, announcer Ben Grauer used to stand at 7th and 42nd atop the since demolished Hotel Astor to welcome each new year with hours of some of the best puff and fluff ad-libing in the history of broadcasting. Dick Clark stands further North waiting for his ball to decend!

Believe it or not, I'm rooting for Meredith Vierra to win.  She's the 3rd femcee to get a Daytime Emmy nod along with Betty White & Vicki Lawrence.

It's been awhile since Wheel was nominated for lighting direction.  Maybe that new fangled set of theirs that changes colors "on the fly" may have helped get the nomination.  It's odd that it's competing against of all shows Seseme Street.  Who'd funk that?

My next post will be #100.

And Ralph will probably be joined there by 'Perfesser Steve,' who'll be holding a sign saying REMEMBER BILL AND ARLENE!!!!! (AND WINK, TOO!!!!!) (I know what some of you are thinking: Don't give the Perfesser any ideas! He just might do that!)

Cordially,
Tammy Warner--the 'Dana Vallery of the Big Board!'
