I have to go along with Chris on this one. I really don't care whether the middle slot is worth $5,000; $10,000; $20,000; or $50,000, it's still Plinko.
The reason we haven't ever had a $100,000 winner in the game is because the game has only offered $100,000 a half dozen or so times. If you're going to get excited over something that won't even count as a record, be my guest, I really don't care. Frankly, I don't think we'll see it, either.
Now, if they have a $50,000 space surrounded by eight goose eggs, I might be intrigued.
I remember growing up in the 80s and watching TPIR on the sick days/days off, and thinking that seeing a cash game was a treat, because there were only three or four of them, and they didn't get played every other day like they are now. Watching one of the models come spinning around on the turntable with that big ass $10,000 check just made my day. Now, if it's not Punch Board, I can still see Grand Game, In the Bag or something else. It's not special anymore.
