eBay Finds 2023

Part of the old "Grand Game" Sign from TPiR ($ and Game. No Grand):

Guest Check Prop from a 90s TPiR Showcase Skit with Gina Lee Nolin:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/265922272910?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=cSuFgTKBQR2&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=x7UO0BNfQui&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Set of Podiums from MTV's Wild N Out:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/255784859198?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=vR1V8zbuRey&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=x7UO0BNfQui&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Sealed 1998 Mattel Branded copy of Wheel of Fortune Home Game (contents identical to Tyco Versions but I never knew if they sourced new content for puzzles or not for this short lived version):

https://www.ebay.com/itm/224976244233?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Ai0UhFo-Qaa&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=x7UO0BNfQui&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Script and Notes from "Secrets of The Cryptkeeper's Haunted House"

https://www.ebay.com/itm/255733491286?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=6XM5MsrQSnC&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=x7UO0BNfQui&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

I also cannot believe how much copies of the Classic Concentration home game are going for. Pre-owned copies are fetching an average of $45. I think I have 3 copies and never paid more than $10 for one. I used to see them everywhere in thrift/antique stores for about $10......

How much you want to bet me that Bob Boden is eyeing the top two items on the above list?

I'd wager that he has already passed on them, for various reasons.

I'm amused by the first sentence in the description for the Cryptkeeper's Haunted House notes and drawings:

WOW!!!!! You want this.

I'm going to try that the next time I pitch something.

Regarding the Grand Game Sign, I would say there might be a chance, if it was the complete sign and they didn't do that sloppy retrofit years ago with the logo before the full refurbishment.

Also, $10,000 is pretty steep. I get that it's one of a kind but still.

I would have bet more that he was the seller! Not that he’d want to sell, but that he already owned this.

Rummaging through eBay a few nights ago, I saw someone selling cards from Card Sharks '01. They are attempting to get $199.99 per card. I wish them luck with that.

Currently on sale for $159.99. What a steal! 😆

I understand that someone would probably pay that price for one being so rare, but I would personally have to get more than just 1 card for that price point.

I own, what I think, is the art card they used for the logo on TPiR in the 80s that they used for the "contestants not appearing on stage" audience pan  and I think I paid $40.

I've also got a few other props and don't recall ever paying over $50. I think I snagged an envelope from WoF for $15.

I wouldn’t drop three figures for one card from the Perry or Eubanks/Rafferty versions, let alone a far inferior reboot. And I say this as someone who was mesmerized by those cards as a child.

He appears to only have two cards.  What a shame.  I was really hoping to pay $8,319.48 for an entire set.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.

Seller with CS cards claims this is from TPiR:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/115569659011?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=9DJesE5gSzG&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=x7UO0BNfQui&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Not unless the show did a '60s skit one day. The TPIR daisy always has six petals and is symmetrical, especially since the season 36 set remodel.

Yeah, I knew it wasn't their regular shape, but I thought they had a 60s or 70s day in the Drew era? I thought I remembered Hippie costumes for some reason. Could be wrong.
Could have been a Showcase Skit before that Era also. Hard to tell.

Either way, nothing of this item is notable or recognizable to fetch that price. It has no significance that screams TPiR Prop.

Seller would have better success if he said it came off the wall of the 1960's Dating Game!
