I've recently watched some old Art James "Catch Phrase" episodes from the 1985-86 syndicated version and I noticed something.
Whenever a square was being revealed for the Super Catch Phrase, in addition to the music that was played while it was being revealed, it always sounded like there was a lot of audience chatter. Was that the actual audience doing that? I would think they would be told not to talk out of fear that they might give away the answer. Or was this audience chatter sound effect piped in to the music that was being played?
