They tape 4/17, 4/18, and 4/19. CBS.com lists only 4/17 & 4/19, but have confirmed from staff they are taping on 4/18.

Probably for May airdate.

Enjoy lots and lots of backstage TPIR photos and other fun stuff here. And yes, I did park in Syd Vinnedge's parking spot at CBS

Wonder if they'll get placed against Super Millionaire?

Not if Millionaire is still running at 10PM, they won't. CBS stands to gain too much by running those at 8.

Wonder if CBS will rerun the Bob's B-Day, Military, and soon-to-air College eps after this new batch of 3 has aired...

That's funny, I thought I-haven't-heard-him-yet was traded to NBC for two pilots and future considerations.

The only thing I have noticed as of late is the cars in the six daily games seem to be getting cheaper.  How many more times are we going to see a Ford Focus or Pontiac Sunfire?

I'm sure we'll see more Foci(plural) & Sunfires in the near future.  Don't hold your breath for seeing a Chevvy Aveo anytime soon unless it's offered before Squeeze Play.  The only MSRP I saw out of that car is $9,995.  That's just as cheap as the cheapest Kia Rio out there.

TPIR is a changing show. Sure, the "family" atmosphere is gone, and some things look different, but in general, the show is still the same as it was in 1972. I also think that a show that has been on that long is bound to go through it's peaks and valleys. Right now, IMHO, is a peak.

To go back to the original topic of the post, I think it is a great show again.  Because of its 11 a.m. time slot I usually don't make the effort to tape it (and that cost me on March 1st when I forgot to tape the 6000th show...arghh), but whenever I have seen it lately I've really enjoyed it.

For a while in the '90s I thought it was looking tired (as another poster had also mentioned), but I don't feel that way right now.  It's gotten good again and I can't wait for the upcoming prime time specials!
