To me, I see a few subtle nods to the past in advance of the 50th birthday: the simplicity of Woolery's puzzle border, the "crown" from Pat's era, then the modern puzzleboard. The gold inner border kinda reminds me of the old wheel's alternating lights.

All in all, I love it. The "million colors of light" board was nice but was missing something IMO.
"They're both Norman Jewison movies, Troy, but we did think of one Jew more famous than Tevye."

Now celebrating his 22nd season on GSF!

It's nice, but it also looks like it could be the plastic surround for a theoretical electronic handheld Wheel of Fortune.
This signature is currently under construction.

"Junior Wheel" vibes, if done correctly...

  • Just leave the set; that’d be terrific.

I'm surprised they bothered to change the wheel configuration for the junior edition.  TDV of $700...lol.

Looks like they got rid of all 50s to make the math easier.

Fine and good until you have to buy a vowel!
If you didn’t create it, it isn’t your content.

Correct; vowels cost $200 as well.

Agreed. I know the weekly themes were there to customize the board area weekly, but I think game shows should embrace gaudy and have some flair.
Fact To Make You Feel Old: Just about every contestant who appears in a Price is Right Teen Week episode from here on out has only known a world where Drew Carey has been the host.
