"Flip Side" bonus round question
« on: November 15, 2024, 06:02:54 PM »
Where I live, Flip Side airs back-to-back episodes on my local station. During the bonus round in the first episode, it's three misses & you're out. However, in the next episode it's two misses & you're out. Why the sudden rule change?

My guess too many winners, or seeing in reverse order, not enough winners.
If you didn’t create it, it isn’t your content.

This, along with the confusion being a symptom of "let's air these in whatever order instead of the order they were recorded"

Small Talk in 1996 did the same. The first three taped weeks had the bonus round as three misses & you're out, but after that, it was changed to two misses & you're out. The Family Channel aired the episodes completely out of taping order, so it was tough to notice that.

The first few taped episodes had 2 strikes, it was too hard, so they switched to 3 after a tape day or two, and since they're airing out of order you'll likely see it flip flop around for the whole season.
