BUZZR Q1 2025
« on: December 23, 2024, 08:02:28 PM »
Just saw an ad tonight for a MG90 marathon, starting January 13th.
“New to Buzzr” so I’m assuming it’s finally getting a regular slot?

A regular slot would be great. I know I'm in the minority here but (most likely stemming from the fact that I couldn't watch it during its original run) MG90 was a favorite.

Thanks for posting!! A few points docked however, Buzzr, for not spelling Ross’s last name right!

I, for one, definitely hope that's the case.

Fingers crossed,

I enjoyed it then and I still enjoy it. I think, when it comes down to the format, that’s the best attempt that was made. Sure, the original 7x format works well too, but the addition of Match Up was a good touch.
I suppose you can still learn stuff on TLC, though it would be more in the Goofus & Gallant sense, that is (don't do what these parents did)"- Travis Eberle, 2012

Considering Buzzr is running/has run the CBS Daytime, MG PM weekly and the Nighttime MG 5-a week shows in groups, why not do a 2-hour Match Game block with one of each series with MG 90 rounding out the 4th spot?  I'm pretty sure most of the Rayburn shows that can be aired are converted to digital, so Shaffer's version shouldn't be too hard to convert.

Love to see that as well with a 2-hour block of TTTT: The Colliers, The Moores/Garagiolas, the Wards, and the Elliott/Swann/Trebeks.

Some versions will recycle quicker than others, but by that time, Buzzr usually shuffles the schedule anyway.
