What's yet to air regularly on BUZZR?
« on: December 24, 2024, 06:29:02 AM »
With that Match Game ‘90 Week coming to BUZZR in January (as of this typing, I’m still not sure on if it’s a launch marathon of it coming the regular schedule or not), it got me to thinking, what other shows in Fremantle’s library have never been featured on BUZZR’s regular lineup (although, it may have shown up in a marathon) or have never aired at all besides Bill Rafferty’s “Blockbusters”, “Match Game ‘98”, & “Scrabble”?

There's the other Grundy shows.........perhaps most notably "Hot Streak".

That would also include John Davidson's Time Machine. I believe that was his first hosting gig. Also, Pat Bullard's Card Sharks has yet to air on Buzzr.

Add Judge For Yourself to the "never aired at all" list.

As well as Scattergories and Small Talk.

The syndicated versions of TPiR are still yet to make their appearances. A little surprised Game Show Marathon hasn't popped up by now, either.
Wood & Narz Beat the Clock haven't aired in regular rotation.

The 1980, 1990 and 2000 versions of To Tell the Truth have never been on the regular schedule though they've all aired in specials - the 1990 version more than the others, enough so that that handful of shows gets rotated in with the Moore version.

Other series I have yet to see outside of a here or there episode as part of a theme day:    Trivia Trap

And how many episodes of He Said She Said have ever been aired on Buzzr or GSN For that matter.  Is the whole series still out there somewhere?

American Idol? Baywatch?

If I remember correctly, Trivia Trap was a regular feature of Buzzr's schedule during that brief period when every "new" episode the network converted came out blurry, making it difficult to watch. So even if Buzzr wanted to put the show back in regular rotation, they'd probably have to convert more tapes.

I genuinely lol'ed at this.

Early episodes of Illinois Instant Riches appear to have a MGP logo on them...has the Rafferty Card Sharks been seen outside of that syndicated run around 2016?
