Does anyone recall what the largest win, other than $10,000 was on TBS?

I definitely remember a second 10K win; there could have been others, although you would think they would alternate all of the 10K wins in the opening clips, and I only remember two.
(However, I don't remember how much they won in the main game, except of course that you get $250 for winning the final head-to-head round.  It's quite possible to qualify without winning any money in the three-way game.)

I remember seeing someone roll the dice for the 10K...I didn't know there was a second winner.

My favorite moment on Showdown, though, still is Jim Peck's "Big Falldown".

 Sorry I wasn't clear.
What I meant was did someone ever win $6000, $6250...from rolling their "payoff point" a lot in the 30 seconds; and then subsequently rolling Showdown?

First off, I have an issue with the topic.  I'm an "old timer?"  ;)

To the best of my recollection, there were two $10,000 winners on SHOWDOWN.  The first was a woman who won the prize on the 100th episode.  Jim Peck had made mention of this fact just before the contestant rolled the dice.  I was in the audience that day.  Other than seeing the air show, I don't have any recollection of the second winner.

Hope this helps.

Do I hear Sande Stewart anyone?  Which now that Sony owns Pyramid, I doubt any of the Stewart's will step up to the bat.

I have the feeling that Sande still smarts that he wasn't asked to produce the revival in the first place--if anyone has the credentials to do "Pyramid," one would think that he would be asked first.  But sense doesn't always matter in television.

I seriously doubt it.
Somebody refresh my memory - did you get $250 or $500 for rolling your point in the end game?  Even if it was $500, you would have to roll the same number 11 times in 30 seconds to get more than $5000 (and then $5000 for ShowDown, but if you roll your point 11 times, you get 55 more seconds in which to do it!), and rolling 11 times period in 30 seconds would be tough, much less coming up with the same number (which has at best a 1/6 chance each time) in every roll.

Thanks to FLASHGames^2's version of the Big Showdown, I can now generate EVEN MORE chances to roll the pay-off point.  I usually get as many as 20 rolls in a 30-second timeframe.  Of course, getting the point 20 times seems impossible(mathematically speaking with a 1/72 shot at Showdown).  That alone would get me $5,000 there plus 100 bonus seconds just to double that.  Like I said, mathematically impossible or so it seems.

Because, you know, repeatedly clicking "Roll" is SO MUCH LIKE physically picking up a pair of dice and throwing them.

I honestly don't remember, but I do seem to recall at least one or two players who hit the payoff point between four and six times in the first 30 seconds (which was, in fact, $250 each time it was hit).  Any bonus time was focused only on rolling ShowDown.

I wonder, however, if someone might have been back to the table two or three times before winning the $5,000 -- someone could have been dominant in the main game and picked up a nice chunk of change there, only to keep getting lousy payoff points with the dice.  ("And your payoff point is... 10!")

Exactly...LOL...I doubt any real-life contestants would make enough rolls to rack up $2K or so just by repeatedly hitting their payoff point.
