The word game comes from Keller/Noll, which launched "Flip Side" with CBS Media Ventures and GSN this past fall, as well as two Atlanta-based production houses, Playing Field Entertainment and Crazy Legs Productions. Episodes will be taped in Atlanta later this year.

TIL Flip Side is 4th among games this season ratings-wise, behind Wheel, Jeopardy!, and Feud.  People must love their Urkel.

I wonder if that rating also includes GSN airings, but good for them regardless!

Finally a show that’s snackable.

As the linked article notes, "The Perfect Line", hosted by Deborah Norville, is also being shopped for Fall 2025 syndication.

If both new shows launch, nothing is canceled, and I counted everything right, that's eleven daily syndicated game shows in Fall 2025. Wow.

EDIT: Minutes after posting that, I came across this - https://tvnewscheck.com/programming/article/exclusive-fox-tv-stations-to-end-dish-nation-person-place-or-thing-pictionary/

"Person Place Or Thing" and "Pictionary" are likely done for.

I enjoyed watching PPoT.  Yeah, it could be done better, but I liked the fact they had returning champions, a rarity for any show that's not FF or J! caliber.  At least 25WOL will still have that...for now anyway.

I don't think Melissa Peterman will lose any sleep over the cancellation with her latest gig doing well.

A quick glance at our annual schedule thread indicated that PPT and Pictionary were usually not in great positions. I'd argue both became better shows in their 2nd season, and the caffeination of O'Connell & friends actually helps the overall product (at least compared to other versions of the same game).
This signature is currently under construction.

Maybe I needed to watch more episodes, but it felt like PPT and Pictionary kinda made the rules up as they went along. I like how informal the Fox daytime games are, and they took me back to an era where we had wall-to-wall game shows in the mornings. But like GSN's originals, they feel a little half-baked.

Fox's aversion to some sort of scoreboard on the lecterns bugs me too.

At last, the follow-up to "How Do You Like Your Eggs?"

Can you elaborate on this more? I'm not sure what this means.

I eventually figured out that Person, Place or Thing will keep scoreboards up during the final speed round if the game keeps close, but if it ends in a runaway, they'll reveal the blowout once time is up and Melissa does a final recap.

PPT changes gears every round and goes from quick multiple choice questions to the yes/no round and then to the Fame Game Speed round. I don’t love how 25 Words backloads the points but at least the game is the same all the way through. I don’t make a point to watch
Pictionary so can’t speak to it.
If you didn’t create it, it isn’t your content.

Pretty much what Travis said. The “yes/no” Q&A feels a little disjointed at times IMO. But again it’s not a show I watch every day so maybe I should give it another chance before it goes away for good.

PPT is a variation of Canada's Inside The Box, except in the former, the contestant creates their own yes/no questions and not choose from a list of good clues/red herrings.

This is the point that I couldn't put my finger on. The questions the contestants ask feel out of left field at times. If we're playing it in my living room, it might make more sense but here it has that disjointed feel I mentioned earlier.
