Once NBC began pre-feeding the O&O's in 1990, WNBC became a mess. By May, House Party and the sitcom reruns swapped places. Then in September, the morning shows began airing a half hour early (LMaD at 9:30, Classic Concentration at 10:00, et Al.) Then in January 1991, the 10:00 hour went back to being in pattern with TTTT airing at 9:30 AM coming out of a relocated The Challengers.
KNBC was also a mess (from a December
TV Guide I collected when my dad took a business trip to L.A. in 1990). After a live talk show featuring Kelly Lange and Gail Parent at 9 PT, KNBC ran NBC's lineup in this order starting at 9:30 PT:
Marsha Warfield, CC, TTTT and LMaD (getting back to pattern when the soaps started). FTR, KMIR in Palm Springs aired the non-soaps in their proper order starting at 9 PT.
And WRC in Washington was another of the O&Os that delayed reruns of CC in 1992 to the overnight hours (joining KNBC, as trainman mentioned above). That lasted until mid-October. (Although it's funny--I also have a San Diego
TV Guide dated 10/10/92 that states KNBC ran CC overnights and
Doctor Dean in the daytime, while the 10/12/92
Los Angeles Times has that reversed [CC in the morning, Dr. Edell overnight].)
