Once NBC began pre-feeding the O&O's in 1990, WNBC became a mess. By May, House Party and the sitcom reruns swapped places. Then in September, the morning shows began airing a half hour early (LMaD at 9:30, Classic Concentration at 10:00, et Al.) Then in January 1991, the 10:00 hour went back to being in pattern with TTTT airing at 9:30 AM coming out of a relocated The Challengers.
KNBC was also a mess (from a December TV Guide I collected when my dad took a business trip to L.A. in 1990).  After a live talk show featuring Kelly Lange and Gail Parent at 9 PT, KNBC ran NBC's lineup in this order starting at 9:30 PT:  Marsha Warfield, CC, TTTT and LMaD (getting back to pattern when the soaps started).  FTR, KMIR in Palm Springs aired the non-soaps in their proper order starting at 9 PT.

And WRC in Washington was another of the O&Os that delayed reruns of CC in 1992 to the overnight hours (joining KNBC, as trainman mentioned above).  That lasted until mid-October.  (Although it's funny--I also have a San Diego TV Guide dated 10/10/92 that states KNBC ran CC overnights and Doctor Dean in the daytime, while the 10/12/92 Los Angeles Times has that reversed [CC in the morning, Dr. Edell overnight].)

Thought of another one while reading your post--for a time in 1985, WLS ran daytime FF at 3 to lead into J! at 3:30 (which remains to this day).  (Then after FF's cancellation, WLS continued to air FF reruns at 3 for over a year.)

Can't recall exactly where I read it, but I'm fairly certain that the WLS 3pm reruns eventually became that "Best of Family Feud" syndicated package that ran from 1985-1986.

In doing some research, WMAQ 5 Chicago in the spring of 1987 moved daytime Wheel Of Fortune to 3 and then 3:30 in the fall and at 10 they first put on The Dating Game and then in the fall High Rollers, which ironically as an NBC daytime show previously occupied that time slot, they put Wheel back to 10 by January 1988

I definitely remember that WBBM scheduling because TPIR at 3pm was my first exposure to the show (that I remember, anyway). This forum help set me straight as to what happened with that period (save for the one-day delay; this I wasn’t aware of).

I actually do remember Daytime Wheel airing briefly at 3pm in the afternoons; I actually have a couple of Chicago TV Guides where WMAQ advertised a local sweepstakes that encouraged watching the 90-minute daily block consisting of The New Newlywed Game, Daytime Wheel, and Hollywood Squares. As you said, that didn’t last long.

Save for that weird time in 2012-14 when they moved it for Katie Couric, one thing that has been a constant for us Chicagoans (current and former)...

My ABC station ran the "Best of Family Feud" syndicated package as well in 1985-86, opposite Phil Donahue on our NBC station at 9:00am. I remember watching that over Phil for some reason (didn't really care for talk, Feud was a show we watched every night then). So, it wouldn't shock me if ABC stations carried that package mostly. WWOR aired it in NYC tohugh.
