DEAL OR NO DEAL (ABC) - Endemol USA has confirmed the Alphabet is expected to launch the game show this summer. In addition, Scott St. John ("Change of Heart," "Street Smarts") has been named the show's executive producer as part of an overall deal with Endemol.

Lock & Key Productions delivered the first completed episode to be closed-captioned today.  If you think "Treasure Hunt" would have been improved if each box had a reasonably attractive model holding it, well, you're in for a real treat.

Seriously, it's a full hour of someone standing on stage picking briefcases by number, being egged on by an Irish guy.  They canceled "Karen Sisco" in favor of this?

So I'm to assume that they've done away with the q/a format like the aussies have?  If so, that's a shame.

Cheers,

Ryan :)

Unless you consider repeated askings of "Which briefcase would you like to eliminate next?" to be a Q&A format, then yes, they eliminated the Q&A format.
