Why on earth would you cancel your digital cable just because they showed Millionaire instead of Password?  It's not a big deal.

The less GSN i watch, the easier the idea of getting rid of digital cable seems to me too.....it's the only thing we watch not on basic cable, so the extra $$$ is for GSN.

Or the Top 40 radio station survey? Heavens, I hope not; I'm set to record Beat the Clock again tonight!

You know, I'm not gonna go on some anti-GSN rant...but it's a true shame if B&W Overnight is permanently gone.  They just don't make shows like those anymore.

I agree. It would be very disappointing if this is true but not totally unexpected (I am sorry to say). Maybe it is a programming glitch that will correct itself after the weekend. Lets not jump on the "GSN sucks" wagon yet.

At least in the dark period, we got to see the $20,000 pyramid :)

If they'd put two other rarer shows, color or otherwise, in place of the B&W overnight block, it wouldn't be as hard to take as another episode of Millionaire. It's not like they're getting big-time ratings at 4AM.....

And that's what I understand the least about this.  There's no way this would be true at any other time of the day, but I actually find it a lot easier to believe that someone would stay up 'til the middle of the night to watch What's My Line? than to watch a show like Millionaire that, if you get the syndie version, you've already had three other opportunities to watch during the course of the day, one of which was in the immediately preceding timeslot.

They could always replace B&WO with the Gary Kroeger "Beat the Clock".  :-)

The only thing that belongs in that slot is Black & White Overnight,if anything it should expand to 2 hours nightly!
