Password 1991 Revival

I read somewhere that Password was supposed to be revived in 1991 with Willard Scott?  Could anyone confirm this?

 I've never heard of a 1991 proposed revival of Password, Jamey. It was reported on here a while back that Willard was considered for the Pyramid gig that John Davidson ultimately got.

Apparently Scott backed out after learning that it was going to be "The $100,000 Pyramid" and not "The 100-Year-Old Pyramid." Hey-O!
