Wasn't All Star Blitz MGM? =)

No, Heatter did that one without Quigley(in association with Peter Marshall Enterprises). King World owns the international format rights to that show.

I guess there's an off-off chance that if the Sony/MGM merging happens, and MGM holds any episodes of the two runs of Gambit, GSN would air those episodes with the new-found success of WOrld Series of Blackjack.

"Just Men" was an Orion holding as well, so MGM would have that as well.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

How much legal weight does a request carry exactly?
And wasn't it said that that was just a rumor based on Gene Wood's claim that Gene R. was "dragged kicking and screaming into the hour?"

Either way, it won't be back. If we can't get TJW, TTD, or even Bullseye on GSN, MG/HS won't be.
Gptta agree.  It would be like AMC suddenly announcing that they acquired a series of silent movies, to be quite honest.
I'm a pacifist, and even I would like to see a little more action.

Regarding the possible Sony Pictures/MGM merger,
While GSN may not be interested in MGM's library of game shows, it is possible that one of the library titles (most likely High Rollers or Gambit) may be revived in a new version.
Also, all pre-1986 MGM movies are currently owned by Warner Bros. (via Ted Turner).  So, Sony will not have any of those unless Warners sells them.

Normally I'd poo-poo this, but if the WSOB is really pulling decent numbers, would a GSN-produced version of Gambit be that bad of an idea?

(I can't believe I'm saying this.) Matt Vasgersian wouldn't even be a bad host.

Possibly, I would say that There could also be revivals of High Rollers, and Gambit. I understand that MGM does not do TV Production much, but really, Sony Pictures Television could dish out new revivals of High Rollers and Gambit! How does that sound?

I should have clarified my post thusly:

"it is possible that one of the library titles (most likely High Rollers or Gambit) may be revived in a new version by Sony Pictures Television."

I wasn't thinking of GSN as a specific outlet.  I was thinking more along the lines of syndication.

I suggested Springer for the All-New 3aC that aired on GSN a coupla yrs back, even mentioning it in an e-mail to Jim Peck...his humorous response? "I resent that, I can be every bit as tasteless as Springer!"
