Me thinks it was J.D. Roth, who was only 18 when he hosted "Fun House"............
but I could be(and probably am) wrong.

I was curious, I looked it up - he was born 20 April 1968, which would have made him 20 when he hosted Fun House...

I can't think of anyone younger who hosted a show, though, but I'm sure someone will...:)

Toffler hosted Finder's Keepers when he was just 20.  Phil Moore hosted Nick Arcade when he was 13....oh wait, he only acted 13.

I knew JD Roth was young when he started.  Seacrest was 22 or 23.

How about all-audience network shows?  Jack Linkletter was 19 or 20 in 1958 when he hosted NBC's "Haggis Baggis," and Paul Peterson was 21 when he took over for Wink M. on ABC's "Dream Girl '67" (Bob Barker filled in on that show for a short while)
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

Wasn't Alf only a few years old when he hosted Hollywood Squares 86? :)

Ryan Seacrest was 19 when we did "Wild Animal Games" for FAM in September/October 1995. At least he said so.

(Amazingly, through the magic of technology, he was still 19 when the show reran on GSN in 1999   ;-))

I've heard Larry Toffler wasn't actually 20 when he hosted FK.  He was 26 someone once told me.

How about the hosts of Wild & Crazy Kids.  I think they were around 14-16 years old.

Randy, Ryan said he was born in 1974.  So, 19 was definitely wrong, unless it had been taped before his 1994 birthday.

I remember reading something about him in People that gave his birthdate, and he was born in March of 1974 if I remember right...In any case, it was '74 (same year as me)....

Has there ever been an April Fools episode for a show where one of the host's children was host for a day?

Maybe Della Barris for five minutes?  The only father-son gs hosts I can think of are Art and Jack Linkletter.

Then more significant than "youngest host", we have just found the youngest person to lie about his age to make himself seem YOUNGER! At 20 I was trying to pass for 21.
