1975 Sub host on LMaD

Mark J. mentioned in the TPiR thread that Monty would often have subs on LMaD.  Looking at the EOTVGS, there are four listed, one of which was Tom Kelly.  In 1975, I saw an ABC episode with a guest host I have never seen before or since.  I'm wondering if that was Tom Kelly.  He did a good job on the show as I recall.  Was he a local So. Cal. broadcaster?

Could it have been Dennis James?

Not Dennis James, I would have recognized him, and of course Bill Leyden had passed on by then.  The gentleman was somewhat lanky, maybe late 40's-early 50s, as I said never saw him before (or since).

The only sub hosts I remember from the original LMAD were Tom Kelly and Geoff Edwards.

To answer the question regarding Tom Kelly; yes he is a veteran sportscaster who was the voice of USC Trojans Football and basketball for a good two decades, and he still calls some SC games on the TV side.  Pete Arbogast (a second-generation broadcaster) is the currnt voice of SC football and does a great job at it too.

Didn't Tom also call some boxing for Fox Sports Net?

Pretty much EVERYONE who doesn't have a national TV gig somewhere else has called boxing for Fox at some point, it seems. I bet if I dug deep enough, I could produce a tape of ME calling boxing for Fox...

There was a sportscaster named Tom Kelly on Cincinnati TV in the late 70s and early 80s.
