 According to tvtome.com, 4 1/2 seasons, 112 episodes from Sep 93 to Feb 98.   ABC canceled the show in the middle of season 5 due to Brett Butler's runins with the law.

 Didn't she also cause a stir with ABC when she flashed one of the co-stars?...I think it was the actor who played her son...
