Friday, I received a call telling me to be in New Orleans for a Jeopardy! College Tournament tryout. Excitedly, I accepted the invite. After the call, I got to thinking. I don't know if I'm eligible because of Weakest Link, it only aired back in February. So, the question is, is ineligibilty considered one year from taping to taping, taping to airing, airing to taping, or airing to airing? Well, today I got my answer. I called to ask them, knowing that I may be giving my chance away but at least someone else will get a chance, so who cares! Well, the answer, to my surprise regarding Jeopardy!, the eligibility rule is considered one year of ineligibilty from the airing of the first show to the date you take the tryout test...none of the scenarios I had imagined. Does anyone else know any little known eligibility rules?
