While there are some radio disc jockeys-turned-TV game show hosts that rank among the best, there are also those who should have stayed in the radio deejay booth to begin with. So with that in mind, Who do you think are the BEST and the WORST game show hosts who started out as deejays?

BEST (in my opinion):
Wink Martindale
Dick Clark
Jim Lange
Bob Eubanks
Geoff Edwards
Peter Marshall (although he did this in reverse!)
HONORABLE MENTION: Mark Richards (who I actually talked to on the phone a few times!)

WORST (in my opinion):
Chris Jagger (He needs a REAL game show like WWTBaM!)

The only ones I have heard do a "disc jockey" show are Dick Clark on his countdown show and Bill Cullen on "Monitor," through the clips on Matt's site. I enjoyed both their styles. From what I understand, Gene Rayburn was quite good on radio as well.  I got a chance to hear a little bit of Todd Newton's show when he was on WNEW and he was very smooth.  There is a station in town that runs Ryan Seacrest's show but I haven't tuned it in yet, maybe this weekend.
