This morning at 8:40 a.m. ET, the Emmy nominations were released to the public. Here's my annual compilation of all of the game/reality nominees that are even remotely on topic (which is the majority of them this year, since "Super Millionaire" didn't get the nod).
First of all, the big category that Edie Falco and Tony Shalhoub seemed to not want to announce on this morning's announcement, televised by all of the major network and cable morning shows (and "Cold Pizza"), leaving it to ATAS president Dick Askin, a man with the tongue of Jack Barry:

"TAR" won last year--"Apprentice" and "Last Comic" are nominated for the first time.
Also in passing, the competition-element "Project Greenlight" was nominated in the Reality Series category with "Colonial House," "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," "Penn & Teller: Bullshit!" (hope they announce the title Emmy night) and "Queer Eye."
Now, the other categories where game/reality shows are nominated--I'll only list the show's actual nomination(s) and mention their competition in passing.
