World Game Show History To Be Made - Tonight?
« on: July 13, 2004, 01:12:09 PM »
Two major events is happening throughout today as both the US and
UK "could" celebrate a Game Show Millionaire on both sides of the
pond (Before taxes) within hours of each other. Which would mean it
would be the first time for this to happen.

The closest this has happened where David Edwards securing £1 Million at his recording in the same week Kevin Olmstead secured his $2.18 Million on his
Millionaire screening.

What needs to be right on the night;

US - Jeopardy!
Ken Jennings secured his 29th win last night pocketing another
$52,000 towards his total and once again annoying Alex Trebek off of
not breaking the "new" One-Day Record. As of last night his winnings
stand at 29 Days: $972,960. Which if tonight win at least £27,040
then he would become a seven-figure winner.

UK - The Vault
For the past eight weeks no-one has won the Live Jackpot, nor has a
studio contestant reached Question 10, nor a Home Caller reached
Question 6. Meaning after last weeks £800,000 was failed to be won
they have skipped £900,000 and set tonights Jackpot as £1 Million.
Meaning the same stunt could be made of someone over here also to
become a seven-figure winner on the same. Also if it is indeed a
studio winner then they need at least £1 (Thats one pound) at
Question 10 to become the UK's biggest Game Show winner.

Don't you mean "$27,040"?
