and did anyone else get the chopped plinko game?  Halfway through the game they just went to commercial on the feed I saw (Central)

CBS broadcasted what was supposed to be TOMORROW'S (7/23) episode by mistake. But it didn't matter which episode, as CBS broke into programming around 11:30AM for that special report.

West Coast viewers saw the correct episode for today (7/22).

It's unclear if the 7/23 episode for the East would be the 7/22 episode, or if they will simply repeat the episode that was shown today.

 That's the one the East Coast got yesterday. I believe that ep. was supposed to air nationally today.

BTW, did the girl pick up any money in Plinko? CBS cut to commercial after the 3rd drop, and she still had $0.
