A few more which have cropped up in my mind...

The NASCAR RACE GAME
The Bloomingdale's SHOPPING SPREE
Sharpie's BARKERS MARKERS
Ziploc's IT'S IN THE BAG
9-Lives TEN CHANCES (I dunno, it's just sounds interesting).

MAGIC #
Could either be sponsored by AT&T, or that Magician named Marshall who always sold magic tricks & magic card sets in the 70s.

Yes, indeed--Chicago fixture Marshall Brodein, who played Wizzo on BOZO'S CIRCUS for many years.  Were those spots nationwide, or are you a Chicagoan like myself?

ObGameshow:  Well before Joey D'Auria took over the Chicago BOZO gig, he had made at least three appearances on GONG as Dr. Flamo (he supposedly did the bit on THE TONIGHT SHOW with Johnny as well).

That's genius. That's up there with the day I found out that HP, upon merging with Compaq, WAS IN FACT going to rename my team's hockey arena from the Compaq Center to...the HP Pavilion. :) [/quote]
LOL.  And thanks for the compliment.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Compaq Center in Houston? (Unless the naming rights changed to another arena.)
And BTW, that IS genius:)!

There is one in Houston (which is still called the Compaq Center), but I believe Chris L. was referring to the one in San Jose.

Correct on all counts. Compaq owned the naming rights to both the San Jose Arena and the former Houston Summit, and the Tank (well, then, Tanq) was rechristned "Compaq Center at San Jose" when the Rockets announced that they would be moving to the Toyota Center.

So THAT'S where Lakewood Church holds their services? I've seen that guy on TV on occasion, I was wondering where they got such a huge hall.
